Our Facility:

Our new Mansfield, Texas facility streamlines the blasting and painting process, and a typical job takes just 3-4 days to complete. Items are dropped off, brought into the shop, and prepared. On day 1, we prep and blast. Lone Star Sandblasting and Painting’s crew is fully trained in a variety of blasting techniques and media, including sandblasting, hydro blasting, soda blasting, and recyclable options.

On day 2, we transfer the item from the blasting booth into the paint booth for priming and curing. On day 3 and 4, we apply the mid coat, top-coat and clear coats as specified. If you need a faster turn-around time, we can heat up the booth for a quicker dry time without compromising the end result. Customers can opt to blast, paint, or use both processes in conjunction for optimal results.

At the end of each day, we keep thorough records and log:

  • Hours of operations
  • Blast profile
  • Wet mil readings
  • Dry mil readings
  • Paints used
  • Solvents used
  • Solvent evaporation
  • Hours of actual paint time
  • VOC, exempt solvents, and HAPS emitted for the day

Our Shop consists of one blast booth using steel grit that measures 16x16x60 and one blast booth that measures 20x20x60 that uses other types of blast media that is dictated by the job. Our three paints booths measure 20x20x20, 16x16x60 and 20x20x70. All three paint booths use filtered air via semi down drafts circulation. All three booths are heated with each with its own 3,000,000 BTU heaters. All of our booths and compliant with air quality measures and are permitted with the TCEQ.

In our controlled environment, we can guarantee optimal levels of safety and efficiency, reduce impact on the environment, and produce the quality you need.

With Lone Star Sandblasting and Painting’s onsite services, your most important assets will last longer and deliver more value for your business.
